Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette was an American voice actress, actor, film and television star born on January 31 1937, and died January 19, 2008. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and appeared in films in late 1950s. Then, she became an important actor in films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). She also appeared in numerous television productions, often as a guest actor, and was Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 until 1978, and received several Emmy Award nominations for her work. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on the 31st of January of 1937. Her parents were Jewish and children of immigrants from Russia, Austria-Hungary. She was the daughter of Geraldine Rivers, a performer and dancer. Her father was a stage manager of the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and also of the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
